Feds Seek To Limit Telehealth Prescriptions For Some Drugs - Mr Validity -

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and HHS have extended pandemic-era telehealth flexibilities for prescribing controlled substances through December 31, 2026, aimed at preventing a "telemedicine cliff". While these rules maintain current access, proposals under consideration look to implement stricter oversight, including potential in-person visit requirements for certain controlled substances following the extension period.
