: To trick the inhabitants of the Netherworld and reach Kirihito, Nanami must demonstrate her belief in her own powers. She uses her characteristic optimism and resourcefulness, fighting "tooth and nail" to secure their escape without initially relying on outside help.
The episode concludes the intense Netherworld sub-plot. After Izanami, the Goddess of the Netherworld, imprisons Kirihito, Nanami must find a way to save him despite her limited powers.
Tomoe becomes Nanami's familiar again, this time with a deeper, more personal commitment.
