Paolo (played by Christian De Sica ) plans a secret getaway with his lover, Magda (Aida Yespica), while leading his wife and son to believe he is on a business trip. His plans are thrown into chaos when his unsuspecting brother-in-law, Felice (Fabio De Luigi), unexpectedly joins the cruise after a failed suicide attempt over his own broken relationship.
