Marty avoids execution by showing Del a travel brochure for the Ozarks, claiming it is an untapped market for laundering money due to its cash-heavy summer economy. Del gives Marty 48 hours to liquidate his assets and produce the stolen $8 million before moving his family to Missouri. Meanwhile, Wendy attempts to flee with Gary, but the cartel intervenes; Del throws Gary from his high-rise balcony to his death. The episode ends with the Byrde family beginning their desperate journey to the Ozarks.

The episode opens with Marty Byrde watching a secret recording of his wife, Wendy, having an affair with Gary Silverberg. This domestic crisis is immediately overshadowed when Marty is summoned to a warehouse by his partner, Bruce. There, Del confronts them about $8 million stolen from the Navarro Cartel.
