Details
This advisory discloses a vulnerability within the FTP client in AceFTP. When exploited, this vulnerability allows an anonymous attacker to write files to arbitrary locations on a Windows user's system.
The FTP client does not properly sanitise filenames containing directory traversal sequences (forward-slash) that are received from an FTP server in response to the LIST command.
An example of such a response from a malicious FTP server is shown below.
Response to LIST (forward-slash):
-rw-r--r-- 1 ftp ftp 20 Mar 01 05:37 /../../../../../../../../../testfile.txt\r\n
By tricking a user to download a directory from a malicious FTP server that contains files with fowward-slash directory traversal sequences in their filenames, it is possible for the attacker to write files to arbitrary locations on a user's system with privileges of that user. An attacker can potentially leverage this issue to write files into a user's Windows Startup folder and execute arbitrary code when the user logs on.

Westlife - Unbreakable May 2026
Upon its release, "Unbreakable" shot straight to number one on the UK Singles Chart, becoming the group’s 11th chart-topping hit. At a time when boy bands were starting to face the pressures of changing musical trends, this track proved that Westlife’s connection with their audience was exactly what the title suggested. Decades later, it remains a fan favorite and a staple of their live performances, perfectly capturing the nostalgia and vocal harmony that defined an era of pop music.
The song is a masterclass in the "Westlife formula": emotional verses led by Shane Filan and Mark Feehily, a swelling orchestral arrangement, and a powerful, soaring chorus that demands a stadium sing-along. Lyrically, it’s a classic anthem of enduring love and resilience, promising a bond that can withstand any storm. Westlife - Unbreakable
"Unbreakable" stands as one of the most definitive moments in Westlife’s career, serving as the lead single for their first greatest hits album, Unbreakable: The Greatest Hits Volume 1 , in 2002. It wasn't just another ballad; it was a victory lap that solidified their status as the kings of the UK and Irish charts. Upon its release, "Unbreakable" shot straight to number
